This year’s theme is Unity in Diversity—The Impact of Asian Communities Shaping Canadian Identity. In collaboration with GlobalFest, a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating Calgary’s cultural diversity and artistic talent, get a glimpse of Calgary’s premier multicultural summer festival at Southcentre. This free one day event is the start up to Calgary’s vibrant festival season, and encourages citizens to shake off their winter blues and reintroduce themselves to the thriving creative community in our city.
Each spring, thousands of attendees come out to enjoy the unique and pedestrian friendly 4th Street venue, offering an array of musical talent, artisan vendors, quality entertainment and some perfect people watching.

Learn the art of sticker making and character development where you’ll design and takeaway your own unique stickers with artists Rawry & Pohly !
This upcoming Arts Commons Galleries artist reception showcases the current exhibitions on display with the RBC Emerging Visual Artists Program, including the Ledge Gallery, Lightbox Studio, Window Galleries, and +15 Galleries. Fish Creek Provincial Park 50th Anniversary Celebration

With trails through natural forests, creeks to dabble in, wildlife to observe, and picnic areas, Fish Creek Provincial Park is over 13 square km of urban park escape. For the past 50 years, Calgarians of all ages have been playing outside, embracing adventure, and immersing themselves in the natural world … right on their doorstep. It’s time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Fish Creek!
Calgarians don’t need an excuse to get out and play, and when our favourite park turns 50, we’re there! On June 7, 2025, the Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park invite you to a FREE celebration. Head to the Bow Valley Ranch day use area from 10 AM – 3 PM and join the fun.
The day will feature a variety of wonderful outdoor activities. Join a free walking tour to learn more about Fish Creek and its history. There will also be native plant and seed giveaways, and food vendors where you can grab lunch. Kids will have fun with activities designed for them, including nature passports. Plus, the whole family will enjoy watching Bud Edgar, Joker & Trick Roper. Bud grew up here, as his father was the Head Herdsman on the Bow Valley Ranch. Don’t forget to visit all the Fish Creek partners at their booths. It’s a true community event!
