The Calgary Stampede is just 100 days away, and it’s never too early to start prepping! Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing Stampede tips, tricks, and guides to help you make the most of your time this summer.

Kicking Things Off: Shania Twain Leads the Parade!

Country music icon Shania Twain has just been announced as the Stampede Parade Marshall—and we can’t think of a better way to start the celebrations! The parade kicks off at 9:00 AM, but if you want a prime viewing spot, we recommend arriving around 7:30 AM. Some folks do camp out the night before so be prepared!

Free Admission to the Stampede Grounds

After the parade, head straight to the Stampede Grounds where admission is FREE from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM! Perfect for checking out all the rides, food, and live entertainment without spending a dime.

The Evening Show: A Must-See Spectacle!

Experience the thundering hooves and heart-pounding action of the Cowboys Rangeland Derby chuckwagon races, followed by the fan-favourite Relay Races that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

But that’s not all—the night wraps up with the Grandstand Show, featuring electrifying performances and an epic fireworks display that lights up the Calgary skyline!
