    The Festival of Crafts is one of Canada’s biggest holiday handcrafted shopping events, showcasing the very best that the Canadian Handmade community has to offer.


    For four days, the BMO Centre at Stampede Park transforms into a magical marketplace featuring some of Canada’s most talented artists, artisans, and designers showcasing their stunning works and interacting with shoppers, making this event a truly unique experience.


  2. [FREE] Amazon Future Engineer Day

    📍 TELUS Spark Science Centre (220 St. George's Dr NE, Calgary, Alberta)

    TELUS Spark is thrilled to host Amazon Future Engineer Day on Friday, November 1. The FREE event will feature special activities that will introduce visitors of all ages to disciplines including robotics and computer science.


    Event Highlights:

    • FREE Admission: Enjoy free general admission to TELUS Spark from 9am to 4pm, with access to permanent exhibits and special day-of programming.

    • Hands-On Learning: Visitors of all ages will have the chance to explore robotics and computer science through interactive exhibits and workshops.

    • Special Programming:

      • “Your Voice is Power” Workshop: Learn the fundamentals of computer science by remixing music from Indigenous artists. Your Voice is Power combines hands-on STEM education with the opportunity to reflect on themes related to social justice.

      • Live Performance by YB Nakota and Wyatt C. Louis: The event will feature performances by YB Nakota and Wyatt C. Louis on TELUS Spark’s Inspiration Stage located in the Atrium. YB Nakota is an Indigenous Sioux singer and influencer known for his powerful renditions of traditional prayer songs and his advocacy for Indigenous culture through platforms like TikTok. Wyatt C. Louis is a Nêhiyaw Plains Cree singer-songwriter whose music blends folk, roots, and soulful blues.

      • Get hands-on with robotics! Visitors will learn about the practical applications of robotics by interacting with an Amazon Hercules Robot, a powerful machine capable of handling heavy loads up to 1,000 pounds in Amazon fulfilment centres.
