Mark your calendars! CIFF 2024 runs from September 19 to September 29. That’s ten days packed with over 200 films from around the world. Whether you’re into heart-pounding thrillers, inspiring documentaries, or just want to catch some local talent, CIFF has it all!

CIFF is more than just a film festival—it's a celebration of creativity, storytelling, and the magic of cinema. Since its start in 1999, CIFF has grown into one of Canada’s top film festivals, bringing filmmakers and audiences together for an unforgettable cinematic experience. This year, presented by connectFirst Credit Union, CIFF is going all out to celebrate 25 years of showcasing the best in film.

Where is CIFF Happening?
With the loss of Cineplex Eau Claire Theatre, CIFF is spreading the love across multiple venues! This year, screenings will be hosted at Globe Cinema, The Plaza Theatre, Contemporary Calgary, University of Calgary Downtown, and Cineplex Scotiabank Chinook Theatre. Each venue offers a unique atmosphere, so be sure to check out a few to get the full festival experience!
