Event Spotlight: Sled Island Music & Arts Festival

Get ready Calgary for an unforgettable musical journey as the Sled Island Music & Arts Festival returns to Calgary from June 18 to 22, 2025. This five-day festival transforms the city into a vibrant hub of music, art, comedy, and film, showcasing over 200 artists across more than 30 venues.

Sled Island isn’t your typical music festival — it’s a curated, city-wide experience where discovery is the headliner. With over 200 performers spanning punk, electronic, hip hop, indie rock and everything in between, every night feels like a secret show made just for you. Whether you're catching a buzzed-about international act in an intimate church venue or stumbling on your new favourite band in a packed dive bar, this isn’t just a concert — it’s a five-day love letter to live music. From high-octane sets by Otoboke Beaver to the haunting beauty of Zola Jesus, expect surprises, singalongs, and unforgettable moments around every corner.

Sled Island offers multiple pass and ticket options to help you make the most of the staggering amount of music, comedy and art that goes down in multiple venues across five jam-packed days. Here's a list of their ticket options:

PASSES 

A Sled Island pass is the best way to experience everything the festival has to offer! Jump between multiple venues and discover music, comedy, film and art along the way. As a general rule, 2/3 of venue capacities are reserved for passholders. Choose a Discovery Pass (18+), a Discovery Plus Pass (18+) or an All-Ages Pass (under 18 only).

Though full Sled Island passes are your best value for attending the festival, we also offer a limited number of Day Passes made available in the spring!

ADVANCE TICKETS 

If you can't attend the entire festival, you're in luck—we offer a limited number of single tickets to select Sled Island shows each year. Advance tickets guarantee show access.

SINGLE DAY PASSES

Though full Sled Island passes are still your best value for attending the festival, we also offer a limited number of day passes! Prices range between $65-$85 depending on the day’s programming.

DOOR TICKETS

Door tickets will be available for all shows not sold out at the time of the festival, subject to capacity. Show up early to get in!
