A Little About Curry & Tikka Corner
This spot comes with 25 years of experience in Indian cuisine, starting out in West Vancouver and now finding a home here in Calgary. What we appreciated most is the dedication to authenticity — their spices are roasted and ground in-house, and everything is made from scratch. It’s a labor of love you can taste in some of their best dishes.
And if you have dietary preferences, you’re in luck! They offer halal options, as well as a variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes to ensure everyone can find something to enjoy.
What We Loved
The Mixed Platter was the perfect way to kick things off, featuring crispy onion bhajia, pakoras, and bread pakora. The portion size is generous, the flavours are on point, and it’s great for sharing with friends or family.
We were also really into the Mixed Grill, which included a variety of proteins like malai tikka, fish tikka, and prawns. The fish was beautifully flaky, and the prawns were juicy and full of flavour.
But the real highlight for us? The Methi Chicken. Creamy, rich, and full of aromatic spices, it was a dish that truly stood out and made us wish we had more naan to soak up every last bit of sauce. It’s definitely something we’d come back for.
